Postcard: Danielle Cooper

The sun, has always stirred our souls. Considered like a god, awakening us, warming is, giving us life, the ones who give nothing in return. So why do we look away? Choking the air with carbon we turn our love into fear. Fear of glaciers melting, sea levels rising, climate change; all because of our unshakeable love with fossil fuels. The dawn of a new uncertain age, youth with the weight of the world on their shoulders are those who cry "We need change!" However we have a choice, we can live in fear of the future or we can embrace it. Here in the land of the long white cloud, using the energy of the shining sun, the force of the wind and the warmth beneath our feet we have the power to change things. Investing in new technologies, encouraging innovation and sustainable development for the vision of better tomorrows. The time has come to power our islands with the goal of 100 % not only 90 % renewable energy. Take the reins and be an example for the world.
