Marceau's Grammar
That his grammar comes to him from Rodin Marcel Marceau says. in one imperceptible gesture he shows that mime is sculpture that starts walking at the first word of God. his gestures are the echo of a god’s voice talking while he sleeps and that only mutes can understand. that’s how it must have been, how gods understood each other in the Great Nothingness. from that way of moving a finger in the air the earth appeared, the Flood from a tear, and hurricanes from one of Bip’s yawns. The mime stretches out his arm to touch the thoughts of God before they turn into male and female but in the darkness, things are more fragile and his hand knocks over the lamps that illuminate divine intelligence like the sick patient looking for his glass of water on the bedside table /in the dark. before dawn the female was already thought of in Marcel’s rib and in that wound that never bears a scar the mime loses and wins Paradise. |
la gramática de
Marceau – Leonel Alvarado
